Instructions for abstracts
Those who wish to present a paper or a poster are invited to submit an abstract before November 2nd, 2026. Abstracts will be evaluated for significance and appropriateness for the Working Group mission by a scientific committee appointed by the organizers. By November 10th, 2026, the presenting author will be notified if the abstract has been accepted for a presentation or a poster.
Abstracts are to be written in English and must include:
- Title of the presentation or poster, not exceeding 100 characters including spaces.
- Author and co-author(s), including contact details.
- Description of the presentation or poster (not exceeding 300 words)
- Up to five key words.
Identify the session that best fits the subject of your presentation or poster:
- Maintaining competitive fitness and quality control in mass-rearing programs
- Mass production for sterile insect technique (SIT) and autocidal control.
- Challenges and advancements in mass-rearing commercial arthropods and nematodes (commercial products, new facilities and locations, size, number produced, training, business plans. (potential markets, e.g., crops), rearing systems, etc.)
- Advancements in mass-rearing technology for rearing arthropods and nematodes. (artificial diets, equipment, facilities, process improvements, materials (e.g., sorting, counting, cages, containers), allied industries, computers, data recording, AI, robotics, cameras, etc.)
- Mass-rearing insects for a wide range of specific purposes (insects for food/feed, weed biological control agents, educational rearing)
