Maclay Burt
1926 - 2008
It was a sad day when we learned of the passing of Maclay “Mac” Burt, our ANBP Executive Director and good friend from 1992-2007. Mac steered our association through years that saw many changes to the industry and helped us grow and focus our mission through his extraordinary organizational skills. In addition to his leadership, he enriched us with his unforgettable personality and warm friendship. As stated by Norm Leppla (University of Florida), “Mac guided ANBP with grace, quiet strength and a unique style”. He will be missed.
